UPDATE: As of September 2026, the proposed two-lane drive-through McDonald's in the heart of Morris Plains has been denied a Major Access Permit in its current configuration by the NJ Department of Transportation (DOT). If material changes to the project are made, it must undergo public review by the Morris Plains Planning Board.
